Diar Foundation is an international humanitarian organization that advocates for Sudanese women who have been displaced by war. The nonprofit works to strengthen opportunities for women and children of South Sudan + Uganda through education, farming, small businesses, and supportive networks.

I became involved with Diar Foundation by first working with Diar’s Founder, Karak Denyok. Initially, I consulted with her on the organization’s operations in Africa as well as the United States. I later became one of the organization’s Board Members and served as the Chairman of their Projects & Development Committee. I was actively involved in raising awareness and funds for the humanitarian assistance Diar is providing women in South Sudan + Uganda.
